Lansing spends a crisp morning heading toward Ulaan Bataar.

The Blue Planet Run team traveled through two major cities today: Ulaan Bataar and Bayan. As they journey farther into Mongolia, our intrepid runners are seeing multitudes of cows and camels, a welcome respite from the belching trucks and monster flying pests they experienced in Russia.

While in Ulaan Bataar, Team Orange shared their message, that a solution to the global water crisis is attainable, with the enthusiastic spectators who joined them at the 10:30 a.m. exchange point, located at a local school.

The terrain in Mongolia is barren: a vast desert filled with farmers, livestock and work animals. The night sky is hauntingly beautiful, and the temperatures fluctuate as much as the tides. The Blue Planet Run team is preparing to push through the heat of the desert in the next few days on their way to Japan, where the media and fans eagerly await their arrival.
