Laura arrives at the Moab exchange point.

The Runners got a lot of company today! Dot Helling was thrilled to have her sister, Marjorie Brinton, run the first leg of the day with her towards Moab. It was yet another gorgeous day, running through the canyons with the La Sal Mountains in the background. Laura Furtado's husband Lance biked beside her during her run.

Paul Rogan, running in the middle of the night, was almost accompanied by dogs again; unfortunately, it was pitch black out so their paths didn't quite meet. Jack rabbits were also eager to join the runners, as has been the case for the past several nights.

Finally, Team Silver was joined by two guest runners from Water for People before dawn! Kate Fogelberg, who coordinates the projects BPR has funded in Bolivia, came out at 3 am. Matt Santo later met the crew in Grand Junction and ran two segments, leaving the run just outside of Clifton. The runners were excited by all of the company – let's keep it coming!
