This site exists at the intersection of two obsessions: long-distance racing and the health of our planet. I follow the sport with the same intensity others bring to football or Formula 1 — and I believe it deserves far more attention than mainstream media gives it.

The connection between running and environmental sensitivity is not abstract. The more polluted our cities become, the harder it is to do the thing we love. Clean air, open roads, and livable temperatures are not background conditions — they are the prerequisites. That link is why this platform combines a passion for racing with a determination to push back against environmental degradation, using marathons and road races as stages for that conversation.

Why long-distance racing is different

Marathons are uniquely democratic. Para-athletes, visually impaired runners, competitors in their seventies and eighties, first-timers tackling a 5K — they all share the course. That breadth is what makes the sport a genuine celebration of human spirit rather than a spectator event reserved for the gifted few.

Just knowing you are part of the group led by the world's best is its own reward.

The mission here

Every race is a platform. This site uses that platform to connect the running community with the environmental issues that most directly threaten it — from urban air quality to climate-driven heat stress on athletes. The goal is simple: turn passion for the sport into pressure for the planet.
